About Shooting Sports
The focus of all 4-H programs is the development of youth as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens. The National 4-H Shooting Sports Program stands out as an example. Youth learn marksmanship, the safe and responsible use of firearms, the principles of hunting and archery, and much more. The activities of the program and the support of caring adult leaders provide young people with opportunities to develop life skills, self-worth, and conservation ethics. - Saturday, October 21, 2017 starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingman High School
Our mission here in Kingman County is to follow the safest and most educational protocols set forth by the state of Kansas. Furthermore, it is vital to our organization to keep the participants safe, educated, entertained and grow each and every time they experience any activity within our 4-H program. The program transfers knowledge, skills and attitudes to develop human capitol, using the subject matter and resources of the land-grant universities.
